ANSIpants16M running in a terminal

ANSIpants16M is the sibling rival of ANSIpants16. The same terminal editor, with the whole studio switched on: layers, 256-color and 24-bit truecolor, reference-image import, and TDF font support.

Opens and saves the app's own .ansipants layered documents, round-trips classic .ANS with SAUCE. One static binary for Linux, made with love for the artists who want the whole toolbox.

the xattr line clears Gatekeeper's quarantine on the unsigned binary.

Apple Silicon build needs macOS 11 (Big Sur)+; the Universal build also runs on Intel (macOS 10.14.4+).

Windows

the Linux build runs great under WSL — install as above inside your distro.


Needs a truecolor terminal with mouse support — kitty, alacritty, iTerm2, gnome-terminal, konsole, or xterm.
